1Linksm News and Updates

In order to facilitate continued efficient, secure transaction data transmission on 1Linksm and to eliminate the dependency on Java, the Federal Home Loan Bank of New York (FHLBNY) is migrating the security device employed to RSATM from Gemalto, and eliminating signing through Entrust TruePassTM.

Effective April 16, 2018, the RSA security device will:

  • No longer be required for Advance Transactions, and will
  • Be required for Wire Transfer Transactions to perform the following actions:
    • Create
    • Modify
    • Delete
    • Approve/Reject

During the week of April 9, the FHLBNY will send RSA security devices to all authorized Wire Transfer Users along with a User Guide detailing instructions on how to establish a unique four (4) to six (6) digit user PIN and execute a Wire Transfer transaction.

We ask that you establish a unique PIN for your RSA security device on Monday, April 16, 2018, to avoid any interruptions in processing Wire Transfer transactions on 1Link.

Instructions are also available at www.fhlbny.com/1link/device.

We strive to make this transition as seamless as possible. Thank you for your patience during this time.

Please contact the 1Link Helpdesk at (800) 546-5101 if there are any questions or concerns.

Did you know you can transact with the FHLBNY remotely via 1Link?

Remote access can come in handy when you're on the go. Through 1Link, your institution’s authorized users have the ability to obtain account balances and perform business transactions (Advances, Wire Transfers and Book Wires) from alternate worksites.

Please note: For business transactions, the user will need their Security Device in their possession. The alternate worksite computer must meet the minimum system requirements to access 1Link. Should you encounter any issues when attempting to access 1Link, contact the 1Link Helpdesk at (800) 546-5101.
